Zeneca, Hewlett-Packard, and Dr. Gibson Thanked

The APSF Newsletter was extremely fortunate in 1998 to experience a remarkably smooth nearly seamless transition to its new production location in Wilmington, Delaware, under the sponsorship of Zeneca, Inc. following the end of our long association with the staff at (Nellcor) Puritan-Bennett in Kansas City due to their restructuring. At Zeneca, administrative coordination and support are provided by Mr. Dirk Goverts and, especially, Ms. Marilyn Brown. Production support comes through Zeneca from Graphic Arts Services, Inc., principally in the form of the artistic and electronic wizardry and enthusiastic cooperation of Ms. Bonnie Burkert (architect of the enhanced graphic and visual appearance of the current Newsletter), with the assistance of Mr. Tom Planer and Ms. Liz Chorba. The production of the more than 60,000 copies of each issue merits the great appreciation of all APSF members and other readers.

Readers of the APSF Newsletter as well as the APSF organization as a whole also express heartfelt thanks to the Hewlett-Packard Company and its Clinical Systems Business Unit for their continuing support through the contribution of computer equipment used in the Newsletter production process and in support of the APSF web page on the Internet.

Last, but far from least, the Editor wishes to thank and acknowledge the Newsletter’s Editorial Assistant, Nola Gibson, Ph.D., whose diligent and tireless efforts are central to the editorial and production process and without which this publication would not exist.
